Before the Philadelphia 76ers' 2018-19 season began, the team had set a firm goal. At a minimum, the team wanted to reach the Eastern Conference Finals. With the departure of LeBron James to the West Coast, the East seemed wide open. Unfortunately, the Sixers fell a hair short in the playoffs, losing on a buzzer-beater in Game 7 of the second round.

Now, the organization is faced with difficult questions. Can they win with the collection of talent they have now? Or should they look to rebuild and trade away the players that took them to these heights?

According to BetOnline.ag, however, the chances of a major player shakeup is unlikely — at least when it comes to their core of Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. The odds on the team possibly trading Simmons or Embiid is at +400, with -700 placed on the team not trading the two.

Opinions on whether the Sixers should pursue such a radical trade vary. On one side, it could be argued that Philly cannot compete with both Simmons and Embiid clogging the paint. Simmons has yet to make a 3-pointer, while Embiid is a career 31 percent shooter from distance.

Others claim Philly should surround these two with shooters to solve this problem. Perhaps resigning J.J Reddick and grabbing another sharpshooter could alleviate the spacing problems.

Whatever Philly does, it's likely that fans will see some roster change over the summer after the heartbreaking second round exit.
