The Philadelphia 76ers are officially eliminated from the playoffs after their heartbreaking 114-112 loss in Game 5 to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.

This certainly hurts, but Sixers guard T.J. McConnell is still going to be as professional as possible when it comes to his exit interview the day following the end to Philly's season.

McConnell came to his press conference with members of the local media decked out in the suit he recently wore to a wedding, according to Sixers beat writer Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

“Just trying to be professional. I see the word ‘interview’ and I don’t think I’d ever go into an interview with sweatpants on or shorts,” McConnell said. “That was my mindset. So I put my wedding suit on and came in and tried to impress Bryan [Colangelo] and Brett [Brown].”

The 26-year-old guard from the University of Arizona confirmed in an answer to a follow-up question that it was indeed the suit he wore to his wedding.

Philly's front office has a dilemma on their hands when it comes to a decision that needs to be made regarding McConnell's 2018-19 team option with the Sixers, which is worth roughly $1.6 million.

Over the final two games of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Celtics, McConnell put up some very good numbers with 28 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists, and two steals in 77 minutes of action.
