The Philadelphia 76ers' newly-acquired swingman in Tobias Harris is quietly having a season for the record books, and it seems like this part about the Sixers scorer has gone overlooked, according to Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports.

To be exact, Harris is currently shooting 49.6 percent from the field, 43.4 percent from three, and 87.7 percent from the line. Thus, it's not quite going to make the cut if we're going by the textbook definition of the rare feat.

Still, this shouldn't undermine the fact that Harris is having an extremely efficient campaign in his eighth NBA season. To add some context, only seven players in NBA history have entered the exclusive 50-40-90 club.

Only Steve Nash (with a whopping four seasons) and Larry Bird (with two) have accomplished this in multiple seasons. The most recent entrant in this list is Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, who did it in his historic 2015-16 unanimous MVP season.

Despite having a career year yet again, Harris was dealt for the second straight time mid-way through the season. The Clippers traded the 26-year-old forward in a multi-player deal to the Philadelphia 76ers. This move is eerily similar to when the Detroit Pistons traded Harris, who was then having his career year at the time, to the Clippers last season.

Nonetheless, Harris is set to join a juggernaut team in Philadelphia. Reports from the Sixers camp indicate that they plan to create a Big Four consisting of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Jimmy Butler, and Tobias Harris — and they intend to keep this core for a long time.

Without a doubt, Philadelphia is going all in. Harris' addition comes timely as he fills a hole that the Sixers needed badly — shooting. It remains to be seen how well he will mesh with the Sixers' star trio. But this move certainly makes them an intriguing and wildcard contender in the Eastern Conference.
