Since defeating the Milwaukee Bucks on Christmas, the Sixers have lost three straight, losing to the Orlando Magic, Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers.

With a record of 23-13, the Sixers are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Al Horford recently complained about his role in the Sixers' offense, so it will be interesting to see if general manager Elton Brand looks to move the All-Star big man.

CJ McCollum is one of the best scorers in the league. He's averaging 22.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists for the Blazers this season while shooting 45.7 percent from the field, 37.3 percent from beyond the arc and 82.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Philly already has a lot of money tied to Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris. McCollum is making $27,556,959 this season and $29,354,152 in 2020-21. He signed a three-year, $100 million extension with the Blazers this past offseason.

Before the season started, a lot of pundits picked the Sixers to meet the Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals. Philly has been really inconsistent this season, but when they play like how they played on Christmas versus Milwaukee, the Sixers are a tough team to beat.

Adding McCollum to the Sixers would clearly make Philly even more lethal on offense. However, it remains to be seen if the Blazers are interested in moving him.
