During the Philadelphia 76ers' impressive 105-98 road win over the New York Knicks on Christmas Day at legendary Madison Square Garden, Sixers rising star center Joel Embiid had another dominant effort to help seal a key victory. However, during the closing minutes of the fourth quarter, a Knicks fan still tried to get under the skin of Embiid.

“You're a cornball, Embiid. You're a cornball!” said the fan in the direction of the outspoken center.

Happy Holidays to you too, good sir! That “cornball” really lit the Knicks up in their own house on Christmas Day, this New York fan must admit. As the Sixers' leading scorer, Embiid went off for a double-double with 25 points on 8-of-17 shots from the field, a team-high 16 rebounds, three blocked shots and dished out three assists.

For the Knicks, center Enes Kanter really engaged in a duel throughout the game with Embiid and had one of his best games in a Knicks uniform. In 36 minutes of action, Kanter led all scorers with 31 points on 12-of-21 shooting and nabbed a whopping 22 rebounds.

Up next, the Sixers (15-18) will look to string some wins together when they travel to the West Coast for a three-game road trip against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Denver Nuggets, and the Phoenix Suns.
