Did Kylian Mbappe just give his rumored future team, Real Madrid, a taste of his clutch gene? While it is way too early to have that kind of talk, the Paris Saint-German (PSG) forward certainly didn't disappoint in the marquee matchup of the Champions League Round of 16.

With the game at a 0-0 deadlock in the final minute of injury time, Mbappe put on his superman cape to save PSG from frustration. Neymar provided the assist, but it was all Mbappe who made the work after he passed through Eder Militao and Lucas Vasquez before slotting the game-winner through the legs of keeper Thibaut Courtois.

Of course Twitter exploded after witnessing such sensational performance from the 23-year-old scorer. Fans at Parc des Princes were all ecstatic about the last-minute winner, and that much was clear with the video celebrations on social media.

A lot were also hyped about Kylian Mbappe, especially after a rather disappointing night for Lionel Messi.

Messi has been struggling to recapture his Barcelona form since moving to the French capital, and his poor play with PSG was further highlighted after Courtois thwarted his penalty kick after the hour mark. With that said, it is not surprising that the Argentine playmaker was emotional after the win.

Meanwhile, the reactions from Real Madrid fans were mixed. On one side, there are those who want the team to stop their chase of the youngster, while on the other, supporters became only more motivated to have him in those white jerseys.

For those not in the know, Mbappe has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for months now. He is set to be a free agent in four months, so the interest he's getting from the Spanish giants has reportedly been massive.

For his part, Mbappe refused to talk about the rumors of his possible move to Madrid, adding that he has not yet decided about his future.

“I’ve not decided my future. I play for Paris Saint-Germain, one of the best clubs in the world,” the Paris native told Movistar, per Fabrizio Romano. “This game to influence my future? No – I’ve not decided, I give my best and then we will see what happens next season.”

Regardless of what Kylian Mbappe decides to do, he certainly raised his value even more with his clutch goal for PSG against Real Madrid.
