Danny Green played most of last season through injury, he just didn't actually know how injured he was until the season was over. Green revealed on his Inside the Green Room with Danny Green podcast that he thought he just strained his groin in a December game against the Boston Celtics.

Green found out during his exit physical with the San Antonio Spurs that it was actually much worse and he had actually suffered a tear in his groin. He missed time because of his groin but he did come back and play on it towards the end of the season. Green played in 70 games averaging 8.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.

Green should be fully healthy when training camp rolls around for his new team, the Toronto Raptors. After being traded along with Kawhi Leonard north of the border Green took to Instagram to thank the Spurs fans and organization.

SAN ANTONIO….Can't express the LOVE I have for you, the city, the fans & the organization. I want to thank you all for allowing me to be a part of something AMAZING for so many years. I have many great memories that I will take with me. Through the ups and downs you've always made me feel SPECIAL. I want to personally thank Pop and RC for being the first to believe in me and give me the opportunity. Thank you to my TEAMMATES for always encouraging me and being there for me (going to miss you guys the most)..so many battles. Thank you to the COMMUNITY for accepting me and allowing me to feel at HOME…all of you will ALWAYS be a big part of me and will ALWAYS be FAMILY! LOVE YOU ALL!
Looking forward to my next chapter in TORONTO!

Green is getting up their age but he can still shoot the three ball with the best of them. He should be a good leader on and off the court next year for the Raptors.
