The Andre Ingram craze has taken over the NBA, but evidently, not everyone knows exactly who he is yet. Ingram is all the time three pointer leader in the G-League and at the age of 32 he finally got his shot in the NBA when the Los Angeles Lakers signed him for the final two games of the regular season.

Gregg Popovich who is usually pretty up on current events didn't have any idea who he was though.

“I don’t read too much about sports,” Popovich told San Antonio Express-News reporter Jabari Young when asked about Ingram. “I have no idea what you’re talking about. I did read Maureen Dowd today, though. It was very interesting.”

For Ingram though, he opened up a lot of others eyes with his success. In two games for the Lakers, he averaged 32 minutes putting up 12 points, 3.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game. He shot 47 percent from the field and 55.6 percent from deep.

For Ingram the big question now is did he do enough to get a roster spot on an NBA team next year? Being in the G-League the pay isn't great and he actually tutored math during the season and offseason to make ends meet for him and his family.

According to Sports Illustrated's Michael McCann G League Salaries top out at $26,500 dollars a year so must players have to have a second job, or look overseas where players make more.

For Popovich though maybe it's time he takes notice of Ingram's name because he could be a good three-point shooting weapon for the Spurs next year.
