Calling out to all anti-maskers – Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has something to say.

Preparations for the restart of this year's NBA season are fully underway as teams continue to settle in in the billion-dollar bubble the league has created in Orlando. The NBA has set-up strict protocols and guidelines to ensure everyone's safety as daily cases of COVID-19 continue to be on the rise across the nation.

Even if the NBA has been rather cautious when it comes to its bubble, San Antonio head coach and president of basketball operations Gregg Popovich isn't taking any chances.

“It behooves each of us who might be a little bit older to take it very seriously,” Popovich told NBA TNT's The Arena (per news4sanantonio.com). “I don't want to die.”

That's a simple way to put it for those who still don't understand how this all works.

Though the five-time NBA Champion head coach admits that the league has created a safe space when it comes to the bubble in Orlando, he is leading by example and keeping his mask on every chance he gets.

“I wear my mask all the time. I wear my mask in practice and I only take it off when I got something to say.” added Popovich.

Recently, the head coach came out to critique the local government of San Antonio, Texas and slammed them for mishandling the pandemic. Popovich called Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Gov. Greg Abbott “cowards” for their lack of leadership and policies when it comes to tackling COVID-19 in their hometown.

Be like Popovich and wear a mask, people. It's not that hard.
