LaMarcus Aldridge has been in a little bit of a slump lately. What makes it even more concerning is that this slump has coincided with a rough patch on the Spurs' schedule.

The Spurs have now lost three straight games, all of which have come on the three-games-in-four-nights part of their West Coast road trip. In their most recent loss to the LA Clippers, Aldridge only had 10 points on 3-of-15 shooting while playing 38 minutes. The night before, he had six points on 3-of-12 shooting in a loss to the Phoenix Suns.

Despite this, Aldridge remains confident that he and this team can figure this out, per the San Antonio Express-News.

“I don’t think I’ve ever gone through (something like) this.…But I will figure it out.”

Even with this slump, Aldridge is still putting up 17.4 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for the season, though he's shooting only 41.1 percent from the field. The Spurs will continue to go to Aldridge until he eventually gets out of his funk. And while he struggles, guys like DeMar DeRozan and Pau Gasol are capable of taking off some of the load from Aldridge.

Shooting slumps are nothing new, even for players like Aldridge. It's just a normal part of the game. Eventually, players get back in the groove and give problems to the opposing teams.

LaMarcus Aldridge should be no different as he and the Spurs continue their quest to compete for one of the playoff spots in the highly competitive Western Conference.
