The San Antonio Spurs are listing veteran small forward Rudy Gay as questionable to face the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday at home.

Gay is dealing with an illness.

The Spurs are 37-29 on the season, which is good for eighth place in the Western Conference standings.

In his second season with the Spurs, Rudy Gay is averaging 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. The 32-year-old is shooting 51.2 percent from the field, 41.4 percent from beyond the arc and 84.4 percent from the free-throw line.

San Antonio is 33-22 when Gay is in the lineup.

The Bucks, led by superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, have the best record in the NBA and have already clinched a playoff spot. San Antonio is looking to make the postseason for the 22nd consecutive year. Even with Gay in the lineup, the Spurs were going to have a hard time defeating the Bucks.

San Antonio, though, is currently on a four-game winning streak and playing really good basketball. They have defeated the Detroit Pistons, Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets and Atlanta Hawks.

Gay is averaging 13.0 points and 8.0 rebounds during the four-game winning streak while shooting 43.9 percent from the floor and 25.0 percent from the 3-point line. Hopefully he'll able to play on Sunday.
