With the 2018 NFL Draft officially in the books, players are now making their preparations to join their teams for offseason workouts. However, one player is going in with an advantage over his fellow rookies.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Antonio Callaway is among the new players hoping to make an immediate impact with his new team. He even has the benefit of being taken under the wing of Pittsburgh Steelers superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Callaway’s agent Malki Kawa says that the star wideout has taken a special liking to the rookie:

“He has a special affinity for the kids that are from here,” Callaway’s agent, Malki Kaha, said of the relationship with Brown. “He’s showing him not only what it takes to be a pro, but be one of the best.”

Aside from their first name, there is plenty the two share in common. Not only is Callaway a Miami native, but he also boasts a similar stature and skill set to the six-time Pro Bowler.

The former Florida product has received praise for being one of the most talented wideouts in the draft. Unfortunately, his stock took a hit due to a string of off-field incidents while he was still in school. As a result, he dropped to Cleveland in the fourth round.

Fortunately, his prospects appear to be looking up under the tutelage of Brown. It goes without saying that the All-Pro is considered the best at his position. More importantly, he has shown the kind of discipline it takes on and off the field to become the best in the business.
