The Pittsburgh Steelers lost in embarrassing fashion to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, putting their record on the season at 7-7-1. Their odds of making the NFL Playoffs took a hit and their level of confidence likely did, too.

Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward, however, isn't backing down from the challenge. The five-time Pro Bowler isn't ready to give up just yet.

The Steelers could use more energy like Heyward's as they approach the home stretch of their season. The Steelers are 2-4 since tying the Detroit Lions. They are below average in both scoring and allowing points. Yet they remain in the postseason hunt with two more games to play.

Heyward will be one of the reasons Pittsburgh is able to fight for a postseason spot. He is fourth on the team in tackles and second in sacks. He will have to hold down the defense with TJ Watt and Minkah Fitzpatrick. Despite the unit's troubles, it is the team's best hope.

The Steelers' two remaining games are against the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens. They are further away from winning the division after Joe Burrow's incredible day but they could still secure a Wild Card spot. In what could be Ben Roethlisberger's last ride with the team, Heyward's never-say-die attitude is the best mindset for the Steelers.
