Former Pittsburgh Steelers safety and current ESPN analyst Ryan Clark had some words to say for the team that he used to play for. His reaction came after the Steelers got upset by the lowly Cincinnati Bengals via a 27-17 loss in Week 15 of the season.
“Kenny, who can they beat? You tell me, who can they beat?” Clark said on SportsCenter via Sports Illustrated. “Can they beat the Colts? No. Can they beat the Tennessee Titans in the playoffs? No. Can they beat the Cleveland Browns? We know they can’t beat the Kansas City Chiefs. We know they can’t beat the Buffalo Bills. We look at this team play offense, they are playing at such a deficit each game, there’s no way that they’ll win.”
The Steelers were initially projected to go undefeated and finish the season with a 16-0 season. However, the high hopes went down the drain as the Steelers' perfect 11-0 record was tainted with a loss by the Washington Football Team in Week 13 of the season.
It was followed by another defeat dealt at the hands of the Buffalo Bills in Week 14 before encountering their third consecutive loss to the Bengals.

After being a valuable contributor to the team for several years, the Steelers showed no intentions to re-sign him by the end of his contract, and was eventually replaced by Mike Mitchell.
Ryan Clark, a former LSU standout, went on to have a one-year pitstop with the then-Washington Redskins before officially retiring by the end of the 2014 NFL season.
Hopefully, the Steelers will be awakened with a much-needed reality check and finally get back on their winning ways to close out the season on a strong showing and ultimately head to the upcoming playoffs with a winning momentum on their side.
