The Pittsburgh Steelers' season came to a disappointing end with their loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC divisional round. Although things did not end the way they wanted them to, there are plenty of silver linings heading into the offseason, including the latest from wide receiver Martavis Bryant.
One of their biggest concerns this year came when Bryant voiced his displeasure over the reduced role he had accrued. Despite his initial desire to be traded, Bryant is now adamant about wanting to remain in Pittsburgh, according to Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
“Of course,” Bryant said. “They stuck with me through my whole process. We had a great year this year. I got better each game, look to build on it next year.”
Bryant acknowledged that it was a bit of a rocky season. However, he is still determined to help bring another Vince Lombardi trophy to the Steelers' faithful.

“Each day I just came to work. I know I had a couple of distractions, but at the end of the distractions I kept working and things started to get better toward the end.”
It was a tumultuous year for Pittsburgh, to say the least. Bryant added to the noise by complaining that he was not getting as many targets with the emergence of rookie wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.
However, he managed to get over it by flashing his big-play ability down the stretch. He had one of his best games of the season against the Jaguars, finishing with two receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown.
