The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to end their saga with the Cleveland Browns on a high note with their in Week 13. It seems center Maurkice Pouncey has no regrets about how it all went down.

The first AFC North showdown featured quite a memorable spat between these two teams featured that resulted in a two-game suspension for Pouncey. He says that he would not have done things any differently, via Josh Rowntree of KDKA:

“The fight was worth it.”

Pouncey's comments indicate the resolve in his decision to get involved in the fight. Of course, it is much easier not to have any regrets with the benefit of hindsight. Although his absence left a rather notable void in the offensive line, Pittsburgh was still able to overcome with a crucial victory.

However, it is safe to say that Pouncey's answer might have been different had the Steelers not been able to win both games while he was suspended. If his absence would have contributed to them potentially missing the playoffs, then there is no question there would be a level of regret.

Fortunately, Pouncey gets to have his cake and eat it too in this situation. Not only did he get to take his frustration out on the Browns while defending his quarterback, but his team has also managed to secure one of the Wild Card spots heading into the final stretch of the 2019 NFL season.

Pouncey's return should provide a much-needed boost up front in Week 14 versus the Arizona Cardinals.
