The Pittsburgh Steelers lost a tough game against the Las Vegas Raiders and played a good chunk of it without TJ Watt, who was knocked out of the game after suffering a groin injury. But, the Steelers received some good news regarding Watt and he has a shot to play on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Even if Watt doesn't play on Sunday, this is terrific news for the Steelers. After all, they just shelled out a massive extension after months and months of Watt and the team going back and forth in contract discussions. It ended up being a record-setting deal for Watt, and one he definitely deserves, but the Steelers certainly are glad that he has avoided a long-term injury.

The Steelers have not looked like themselves so far this season and got beat by the Raiders–at home–on Sunday, so they will look to turn things around against the Bengals in another tough divisional matchup as Mike Tomlin's team tries to right the ship.

The hope is that Watt can go, but we will keep an eye on the situation regarding the team's best defender, and one of the best defenders in the entire NFL.
