The BIG3 features many former NBA players that are not far removed from their playing days in the league.

Stephen Jackson, who is a member of the Killer 3s, recently voiced that he's hoping that the BIG3 can springboard him back into another opportunity to play in the NBA. He once again reiterated his strong desire get back in the league.

“I have been working for this. I have been working to go back to the NBA. This is a blast for me. I love to compete and want to play basketball for as long as I can. I feel like there are guys in the NBA that can't guard let alone the BIG3. I'm just taking advantage of an opportunity. My teammates just put me in great positions to score and be productive. We just got to win.”

Jackson last played for the both Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs in the 2013-14 season. Since then, he hasn't received any significant interest from an NBA team and had even attempted a comeback last offseason but had no luck in landing a deal.

The 39-year-old has acknowledged that the chances are slim for him to re-enter the league but has remained fixated on getting back in the NBA for at least a 15th season. Jackson is currently second in the BIG3 behind Rashard Lewis with 126 points scored through the first six weeks.

If Jackson has any hope of returning to the NBA, he will have to continue to play at a high level for the remainder of the initial season of the BIG3.
