The New England Patriots are expecting two of their key players to return on the field as running back Damien Harris and cornerback Stephon Gilmore are looking to suit up in Week 11 against the Houston Texans, as per NFL Network‘s Ian Rapoport.

Harris previously nursed ankle and chest injuries in the past week but still managed to ball out in their most recent matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. He recently came out and tallied his best performance this season with 121 rushing yards on 22 carries which ultimately became integral for the Patriots' 23-17 win in Week 10.

On the other hand, Gilmore has been ruled out for the team's last three outings due to a nagging knee injury. His most recent appearance for the Patriots came in a disappointing Week 7 defeat against the San Francisco 49ers back on October 25 where he recorded a total of three tackles in the 33-6 loss.

The 2019 NFL Defensive Player of the Year was also linked to numerous trade rumors prior to the deadline but still found himself staying put. Despite previous speculations, Gilmore will still look to finish the 2020 season with the team and help them snag one of the final seats in the postseason picture.

Head coach Bill Belichick and his men are currently riding the momentum of a two-game winning streak heading into Week 11 proceedings. They will aim to extend their good showing with another victory at the expense of the Texans with contributions coming from both Damien Harris and Stephon Gilmore.
