Incoming sophomore Josh Jackson is playing in the Summer League right now. Recently, the Phoenix Suns swingman shared that he's not sure if he'll finish the tourney or not.

Jackson, the fourth overall pick in last year's NBA Draft, was named to the NBA All-Rookie Team last season. The 6-foot-8 guard/forward averaged 13.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.

The Summer League is usually reserved for rookies, sophomores, and several other prospects who weren't selected in the draft, among others. In a sense, Jackson doesn't really need to play — being a top rookie last season.

Despite these, he still has a goal for the summer tourney. As reported by Dave King of the Bright Side of The Sun, Jackson said:

“That’s the plan coming out,” he said. “I think that should be every second year player’s plan to come out here and show that they got better. I thought I did all right in Summer League last year, but obviously I want to come out and blow my last performance out of the water.”

Perhaps he'll take the tourney as another opportunity to learn. As per Alex Wong of Slam, Jackson said:

“I’ll always figure it out. I may not get it the first time around. I may not be that good when I get started. But I’ll always figure it out. I’m a learner. I love to learn. I love to listen. I’m going to digest as much information as I can. And that’s what I did during my rookie season.”
