The San Francisco 49ers are going to need Jimmy Garoppolo to take care of the ball to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 54, and Garoppolo is off to a bad start. Following a touchdown drive by Kansas City, Bashaud Breeland came up with a huge interception on Garoppolo.

Once Garoppolo received the snap, Chris Jones was already applying pressure in his face. While trying to evade the pressure, the 49ers signal-caller attempted to throw the ball away.

However, before the ball got to the sideline, Breeland jumped the pass and was able to corral the interception. During the regular season, Breeland put together one of the better seasons of his career with 48 tackles, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and a touchdown.

The veteran corner has been able to carve out a prominent role in Kansas City's defense as he is slated to become a free agent in 2020. If Breeland can continue to create plays for the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, he could see a pay raise in the offseason.
