Devin Booker may have missed out on the NBA title with the Phoenix Suns not too long ago, but he is now officially an Olympic gold medalist after Team USA defeated France in the final game of the tournament on Friday, 87-82.
Kendall Jenner has since taken to Instagram to share her reaction to her boyfriend's gold medal win with Team USA. Jenner needed just one emoji to express how proud she is of her beau (h/t Jackie Willis of ET):
Kendall Jenner isn't really one for showing off her relationship with Booker on social media (perhaps this has a lot to do with her image as one of the most desirable celebrities on the planet today), so this is definitely a noteworthy moment from the Kardashian star.
For his part, Booker got the starting nod for the final match, but it was a forgettable performance from the Suns superstar. Booker scored just two points in 22 minutes of action. He went 2-of-2 from the line while missing all four of his field-goal attempts on the evening.
It was Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant who led the way for Team USA, amassing 29 points in a masterful performance against Rudy Gobert and the rest of the French national squad. Durant came up big for his country when it mattered most, as Team USA bagged its fourth consecutive gold medal in the Olympics.
Devin Booker may have played a minor role in Team USA's gold-medal win, but clearly, Kendall Jenner could not be more proud.
