Techland is currently hiring staff to work on their yet-unannounced Triple-A Open World Fantasy RPG title.
Techland is hiring a couple of dozen of people to work on their upcoming Triple-A Open World Fantasy RPG game. The hiring encompasses a lot of disciplines, of course including programming and development, but also animation, art, design, HR, PR, legal, and IT, among others. Based on the type of people they are hiring, it seems like the Triple-A Open World Fantasy RPG game is still in its very early development phase.
Based on some of the people working on this project, it seems like Techland really is pulling out all stops for this project to be a big hit. There are veterans from CD Projekt Red reportedly working on this game, including open world director Bartosz Ochman (Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt), narrative director Karolina Stachyra (The Witcher 2, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt), and narrative lead Arkadiusz Borowik (The Witcher 2, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt). Some other, non-CDPR staff involved are veterans creative director Mario Maltezos (Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Mad Max), lead game designer David McClure (Deathloop), and lead animator Kevin Quaid (Horizon Zero Dawn).
Techland has just recently released Dying Light 2, which was also a big hit on PC. While working on this new title, Techland will continue improving the gameplay experience of players for Dying Light 2, which included a next-gen version that came out a month ago.
