The 2017 NFL season could not end any quicker for the Houston Texans. While there was little hope they would put up a fight against the formidable Pittsburgh Steelers, the 34-6 loss came as a disappointment to most fans.

Fortunately, they were treated to yet another incredible touchdown catch in the fourth quarter by star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins over two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden.

However, Hopkins downplayed his stellar grab by saying he should have caught it on the first attempt with his right hand, according to ESPN's Sarah Barshop:

“I’m mad I didn’t catch it the first time,” Hopkins said. “I was supposed to catch that one the first time with my right hand.”

Despite Hopkins' modesty, his highlight is without a doubt a “catch of the year” candidate. Not only was he able to somehow re-track the ball after the tip, but the body control he displays to get both feet in bounds is second to none.

Hopkins has enjoyed another marvelous year despite the ongoing quarterback woes for the Texans. He has hauled in 96 receptions for 1,378 yards and 13 touchdowns entering the season finale.

Furthermore, he has provided countless highlight catches en route to his second Pro Bowl selection. That said, he is poised for some more big years with rookie Deshaun Watson proving to be the franchise quarterback this team had been in dire need of.
