Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is without a doubt one of the biggest movie stars to ever walk on earth. The Rock is definitely a household name that every brand wants to collaborate with. In the world of gaming, the former pro-wrestler recently made a surprise appearance in Fortnite starring as The Foundation. After this huge collaboration, it makes us think about which other game would we want to see The Rock star in.

Jumanji

Okay, we know what you’re thinking, Jumanji: The Video Game was already released back in 2019. Plus, reviews for the game weren’t pretty at all. However, this wouldn’t stop the Brahma Bull from potentially starring in another Jumanji game. Especially now that fans automatically think of The Rock when they hear the name Dr. Smolder Bravestone.

Fast & Furious: Hobbs and Shaw

Back in 2020, Slightly Mad Studios released Fast & Furious Crossroads featuring some of the original cast in the movie. Sad to say, the game was a huge flop and received horrible reviews. Crossroads is like a hybrid of Need For Speed, Driver, and Crazy Taxi altogether. Apparently, all those elements didn’t blend well together, plus the fact that the game had horrible graphics. With that being said, Slightly Mad Studios can potentially redeem themselves with a better Fast & Furious game. This time, the devs can give it a go with The Rock’s Hobbs and Shaw spinoff film. Having Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham’s antics heavily featured in the game will definitely brighten things up. The devs can also add in new features like allowing players to actually control the characters outside their cars. Maybe add in some Grand Theft Auto elements such as free roam and triggering missions on foot. Lastly, we’d definitely want to see a lot of The Rock and Jason bantering towards one another.

Grand Theft Auto 6

Speaking of Grand Theft Auto, having The Rock star in GTA 6 makes so much sense. First of all, rumor has it that GTA 6 will take place in a modern setting of Vice City. If the rumors are true, having Dwayne Johnson in the game fits perfectly given that he’s from Miami Florida. It’ll definitely be a nice tribute to the hometown hero. Then there’s the fact that The Rock has multiple action films which give him more reasons to star in GTA 6. He doesn’t necessarily have to be a playable character, seeing him as a big boss or a police force chief is good enough. We can just imagine the harsh burns he has in store for the main protagonist of the game. Having The Rock appear in GTA 6 will definitely add more spice to the game.

Tekken 8

Tekken is a fighting game franchise that helped put fighting games on the map next to Street Fighter. Bandai Namco’s most recent title Tekken 7 which released back in 2015 had a celebrity guest featured in the game. Negan Smith is a DLC character from The Walking Dead played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. If a man holding a barb-wired bat made it to the game, then so can a former pro-wrestler. The Rock coming into Tekken 8 can potentially blow everyone’s minds. His character’s storyline can fit perfectly with fellow pro-wrestlers like King, Marduk, and Armor King. Maybe we could also see some beef between The Rock and Marduk fighting over who the better heavyweight fighter is. Just a couple of bald muscular dudes fighting for alpha supremacy, sound familiar?

Tomb Raider Spinoff

This might come off as a weird pick for some of you. In everyone’s eyes, Lara Croft will forever be the Tomb Raider. However, that doesn’t mean the franchise wouldn’t be open to developing a spinoff title. One good example would be Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Players have to play through a storyline featuring Chloe Frazer instead of everyone’s beloved Nathan Drake. We think that The Rock has the potential to pull off a role as the main protagonist in the Tomb Raider franchise. There’s also the fact that we’ve seen The Rock star in multiple films similar to Tomb Raider. Having him wear an explorer’s outfit would perfectly fit the bill.

At this point, it’s no secret that The Rock has starred in multiple films based on beloved video game franchises. He previously starred in movie adaptations of Doom, Rampage, and Jumanji which each did just okay. Recently, Dwayne Johnson promised his fans that the new video game film he’s working on should be something to look out for.
