The Oklahoma City Thunder's first-round exit on Tuesday night definitely left more questions than answers in terms of the team's future.

Team head coach Billy Donovan recently addressed the rumors pertaining to a looming roster shake-up, but gave off a bit of a vague and cryptic statement regarding the issue.

Donovan might have been speaking in code here, and if we were to read between the lines, the coach may have been insinuating that the Thunder front office may indeed be looking to revamp their lineup.

Then again, it is also possible that the reason behind Donovan's indistinct response is because he might be in the dark at this point. Three consecutive first-round exits over the past three seasons have reportedly put Donovan's job security at risk, and he might very well be left without a job within the next couple of weeks.

To be clear, though, there has been no official word on Donovan's future with the Thunder, but given how his team has underperformed during the past few seasons, it would not be a complete surprise if the Oklahoma City front office decide to part ways with the 53-year-old.

If, however, the team decide that he is still the right man for the job, then Donovan will likely be given the free hand to make the necessary moves with the objective of making the Thunder more competitive.

What is clear is that there's just no two ways of going about this; the Thunder must fully commit to Donovan or not at all.
