Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Chris Paul gushed about Andre Roberson on Sunday after the swingman hit a pair of late threes to cement a comeback win in a scrimmage against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Paul said Roberson's treys were “big time” while also commenting on Roberson notching a +29 plus-minus in the contest.

The Thunder playmaker also reiterated that Roberson has been the consummate professional, calling him “one of the best teammates” he has ever had in his career.

Andre Roberson has not played since 2018, but he has looked strong in each of OKC's exhibition contests.

It remains to be seen just how much Roberson will play when the seeding games begin. But, if nothing else, he gives the Thunder added length especially on the defensive end of the floor.

Meanwhile, it is Chris Paul whose presence has really altered the course of OKC's season.

It was suggested Paul might seek a trade when the Thunder acquired him from the Houston Rockets in exchange for Russell Westbrook last summer. Instead, CP3 remained in OKC and helped the franchise achieve the fifth-best record in the Western Conference entering the restart.

Paul has certainly been productive. Prior to the NBA suspension last March, he was averaging 17.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 6.8 assists. He has also been one of the best clutch performers in the league.

Moreover, Paul has set the tone with his leadership. He has been a mentor for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and some of the Thunder's other youngsters, helping them develop ahead of schedule and compete on a nightly basis.

Both Paul and Roberson — with their combination of veteran leadership and youthful energy — are expected to be key factors to help the Thunder compete in Orlando.
