If the Oklahoma City Thunder fall out of the playoff mix out West and don't trade Danilo Gallinari before the February trade deadline, the franchise will look to sign-and-trade him in July, according to Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report.

Gallinari becomes an unrestricted free agent next summer. He's making $22,615,559 this season with the Thunder:

Gallinari would be relatively easy to move with his expiring $22.6 million. If the team falls out of the playoff mix, don't expect the franchise to buy him out. Instead, one executive close to the Thunder said OKC will look to sign-and-trade him in July if they don't find a deal.

The Thunder are 11-14 on the season. They are in the 8th and final playoff spot in the Western Conference entering Monday.

OKC acquired Gallinari from the Los Angeles Clippers in the blockbuster Paul George trade. He's averaging 17.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game this season for the Thunder while shooting 42.7 percent from the field, 38.8 percent from beyond the arc and 91.0 percent from the free-throw line.

A report from The Ringer said the Portland Trail Blazers have interest in Gallinari despite making Carmelo Anthony's contract guaranteed for the rest of the season. We'll see what happens with Gallinari moving forward.
