The Oklahoma City Thunder are having a very impressive 2018-19 campaign, currently owning a record of 37-20, which is good for third place in the Western Conference standings.

It's in stark contrast from last year, when the Thunder struggled most of the way and ended up making the playoffs during the final week of the regular season.

Oklahoma City Thunder star Paul George said he isn't sure what's missing from the team right now, saying that it has a lot:

“We got a lot on this team right now,” said George, according to Erik Horne of The Oklahoman. “I'm not sure what's missing. We're not in the finals. We're not in the playoffs. I think what we've got is enough. Me and Russ can shoulder it, and we've got a lot of help around us, a lot of support.”

Of course, the measuring stick for every team in the Western Conference is the Golden State Warriors, and many feel that the Thunder are the Warriors' biggest threat out West.

However, is Oklahoma City good enough to outlast Golden State in a seven-game series? Probably not, as the Thunder simply do not have the overall firepower to best the Warriors four times out of seven games, but with their athleticism and long, rangy defenders, they can certainly make things tough on them.

As for George? He is having what is easily the best season of his career, averaging 28.7 points, eight rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.3 steals over 36.3 minutes per game while shooting 45.3 percent from the floor, 40.6 percent from three-point range and 83.7 percent from the free-throw line.
