At just 24 years old, Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams has developed into one of the NBA's best at his position and continues to only get better. Thunder star forward Paul George, who is in his first season with OKC, is a huge fan of Adams' game and loves him as a teammate.

However, according to a video posted to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon by Fred Katz of the Norman Transcript, the former Indiana Pacers forward George had quite a different opinion on Adams before he came to the Thunder over the summer.

“Going against him, I thought he was some cocky arrogant dude, who always just wanted to start trouble…and when I got here, it was the truth,” George said with a laugh and a big smile. “He's actually a great dude, he's actually an incredible teammate.”

What George really admires about Adams is his sense of humor as well as his toughness on both offense and defense.

“He's actually pretty funny. He does want those problems down there, that is actually true, but I think that comes from him just being a physical player and that comes with altercations,” George said of Adams. “He's just a special individual that I think that you have to get to know to really have an opinion on.”

During the 2017-18 season, Adams continues to have career highs in almost all of his stat categories. In 69 starts on the year, the New Zealander is currently averaging 14.1 points on 63.4 percent shooting from the field, 9.0 rebounds, 1.2 steals, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 assists per game.
