LeBron James isn't the only NBA star that owns a house in Bentwood, as Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook has also bought a house in the Westwood community.

According to the LA Times, Westbrook bought the house for $19.75 million:

The multi-level house, designed by architect Ken Ungar, sits on a leafy corner lot where actor Anthony LaPaglia previously lived. LaPaglia sold the property, which previously centered on a 1941 Traditional-style residence of about 5,200 square feet, two years ago for $8.2 million, public records show. The new home was completed this year.

There aren't a whole lot of details about the house, but according to the building permit the house is 9,000 square feet. It sits on a half-acre property that includes a 38-foot long swimming pool and spa, and also a detached garage.

Westbrook has a connection with the Los Angeles area playing for UCLA, and before he signed his extension with Oklahoma City, there were rumors that he could go play for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Westbrook's new contract starts this year and will extend him for five more years with the Oklahoma City Thunder. This upcoming year, he will make over $35 million, and in the last year of his deal, he will make almost $47 million.

Anything can happen but right now it seems like this is a good offseason home, as the chances of him leaving the Thunder anytime soon seem slim.  This is the second home that Westbrook will own in Los Angeles. Three years ago, he purchased a property in Beverly Crest for $4.65 million.
