The Oklahoma City Thunder tied the game up with the Denver Nuggets last night at 124 apiece with just 1.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately for them, the Nuggets were able to find guard Gary Harris for a wide-open, game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer to give Denver the win and send the fans at the Pepsi Center into a frenzy.

Unfortunately, things got a little out of hand after the shot went in when a fan sitting close the court approached Thunder guard Russell Westbrook and started screaming in his face in celebration. Westbrook pushed the fan away from him before teammate Steven Adams entered the fray. That was quickly followed by security entering the situation, holding Westbrook back and the escorting the fan off the court.

Many questioned what would happen since Westbrook pushed the fan away from him after the buzzer. Some speculated a suspension was indeed a possibility. Fortunately for Westbrook and the Thunder, the two seemed to have escaped any punishment for the All-Star guard. According to Royce Young of ESPN, the NBA has decided not to fine or suspend Westbrook for the incident involving the fan. which clears the way for him to take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.
