Former NBA player Stephen Jackson is coming to the defense of Oklahoma City Thunder star point guard Russell Westbrook.

As you've probably heard, Kevin Durant's brand ambassador recently said on Instagram no one wants to play with Westbrook after Paul George demanded a trade from the Thunder to play with Kawhi Leonard on the Los Angeles Clippers. Since the post hasn't been taken down yet, many believe Durant agrees with what his brand ambassador had to say about Westbrook.

Stephen Jackson, though, says he's never heard a player say they can't play with Russell Westbrook, who has averaged a triple-double three years in a row and plays with tremendous passion and grit every single night.

Westbrook is a very polarizing player. Thunder fans adore him, while fans of other teams don't like the former MVP that much. Some believe Westbrook is a stat-padder and doesn't care about winning. Anyone inside the Thunder organization will dismiss that statement. The explosive point guard is always upset in the locker room after OKC loses a game.

The Thunder are widely expected to trade Westbrook before the 2019-20 season starts. After moving George to the Clippers, OKC appears to heading for a rebuild. It's going to be fascinating to see where Westbrook lands.
