Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams wasn't a big fan of the boos that showered teammate Paul George during a 107-100 road win against the Los Angeles Lakers. George, a native of Palmdale, got a rather hostile welcome to the Staples Center after he skipped out on the chance to join the Lakers in free agency, instead signing a long-term deal with the Thunder to remain in OKC.

Adams was asked if the booing was channeled as fuel for him and his teammates. As usual, the Kiwi big man was nonchalant about it all:

“Eh, I personally don't. I think it's a bunch of bull****,” said Adams. “We're bloody professionals. We should be coming out every night and not just relying on the fans to do so. We've got a job to do, is more so us knowing that we got to play.”

The Thunder are fighting to remain in the top four of a very tight Western Conference race, but Paul George played inspired, taking 29 shots in 34 minutes and putting up 37 points to lead all scorers.

Adams was the usual handyman, notching 14 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in the outing, managing to pull away from the Lakers in the fourth quarter. This despite a deplorable shooting performance from their franchise player, Russell Westbrook, who shot a ghastly 3-of-20 from the floor en route to 14 points.

The Lakers have now lost three out of four games without LeBron James and will have more important things to boo about, now barely holding onto a playoff spot while going from fourth to eighth in the race in the span of a week.
