Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl Anthony-Towns is listed as questionable for his team's game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night as a result of concussion protocol, according to the team.

Towns was involved in a car accident on Thursday and ended up missing the Timberwolves' win over the New York Knicks on Friday night as a result. It was the first game that the center had missed in his four-year NBA career.

On the season, Towns is averaging 23.1 points, 12 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 blocks over 33.1 minutes per game while shooting 51.2 percent from the floor, 38.9 percent from three-point range and 84.7 percent from the free-throw line. As a result, he made his second straight All-Star appearance.

The 23-year-old, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Kentucky, was originally selected by the Timberwolves with the first overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft.

Towns went on to start all 82 games during his rookie campaign, registering 18.3 points, 10.5 boards, two assists and 1.7 blocks across 32 minutes a night while making 54.2 percent of his field-goal attempts, 34.1 percent of his long-distance tries and 81.1 percent of his foul shots.

The following year, the Edison, N.J. native was even better, recording 25.1 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.7 dimes and 1.3 blocks through 37 minutes per game, connecting on 54.2 percent of his shots, 36.7 percent of his triples and 83.2 percent of his free throws.

Then, last season, Towns had one of the most efficient offensive seasons a big man has ever had, posting 21.3 points, 12.3 boards, 2.4 assists and 1.4 blocks over 35.6 minutes a night while converting on 54.5 percent of his field goals, 42.1 percent of his treys and 85.8 percent of his foul shots. The Timberwolves made the playoffs for the first time since 2004.
