The Minnesota Timberwolves will be looking to refine their roster this summer, potentially making aggressive moves like they did during the last offseason, trading for Jimmy Butler.

This time around, despite the rumors surrounding Karl-Anthony Towns' unhappiness, the team could choose to trade a different franchise cog in hopes of finding the veteran leadership they've been hoping to see.

“One name brought up often in recent days has been Toronto’s DeMar DeRozan, who could become available should the Raptors look to make wholesale changes following a third straight loss to LeBron James and the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference playoffs,” wrote Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

A Canadian native, Wiggins could bring a fresh breeze of youth for a Raptors team that is expected to do much more than just find a different coach to lead this team while helping him to regain that focal-point role he's so badly wanted since being drafted with the top overall pick in 2014.

The only problem fall in the similarities between DeRozan's and Wiggins' games, both more adept to mid-range shots and working on their 3-point prowess.

Aside from Wiggins' youth, there isn't any particular attribute that would make this trade anything other than a swap for the sake of trying something new.

Yet playing within a different system could help both of these teams find a new dimension, even by swapping players with a very similar skill set.
