Another outstanding college quarterback is entering the transfer portal. Toledo football player Dequan Finn is entering the portal as a grad transfer, per The Athletic. Finn was the MAC Player of the Year this season.

Finn will be highly sought by schools looking for an experienced play-caller. He threw for more than 7,000 yards in his college career. Finn is a dual-threat quarterback who also has 1,820 career yards rushing. He scored 88 touchdowns while at Toledo. He has one year of eligibility remaining as a grad transfer.

Finn led the Rockets to the MAC championship game this season, throwing for 22 touchdowns on the year with 9 interceptions. He also completed a career-high 63 percent of his passes while leading Toledo to an 11-win season. The Rockets ended up losing the MAC championship in an upset to Miami of Ohio, 23-14. Toledo is headed to the Arizona Bowl where it will play the Wyoming Cowboys. That game is scheduled for Dec. 30. Finn won't play as he's entered his intentions to leave the school.

Finn joined a crowded transfer portal this off-season filled with outstanding quarterbacks. Oklahoma's Dillon Gabriel, Ohio State's Kyle McCord, and Kansas State's Will Howard are only a few of the other talented gunslingers in the portal. Finn is likely to get offers from power 5 schools, as several big programs like Nebraska in the Big Ten and Baylor in the Big 12 are looking for a new quarterback this off-season for 2024.

Finn was named Mr. Football for the state of Michigan in 2018. He's a former three-star prospect while coming out of high school. He led his high school team to a state championship in 2018.
