After a summer full of speculation regarding Harry Kane's future, he has finally made a decision on where he will play his football this season.
The Englishman took to social media to post a heartfelt message, making it clear that he will be staying at Tottenham, despite Manchester City's desire to splash the cash:
It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I've had in the last few weeks. 👏⚽
I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success. #COYS pic.twitter.com/uTN78tHlk1

This will surely be a sigh of relief for Spurs fans and chairman Daniel Levy. He was reluctant to sell Harry Kane, even though the reigning Premier League champions were offering well over €100 million for the England captain.
Kane returned to training rather late after taking an extended holiday due to the Three Lions' run in Euro 2020. He ultimately missed Tottenham's season opener against City, where the side pulled out a 1-0 victory. The Spurs talisman then came on as a substitute last weekend in another win against Wolves and received a standing ovation from the supporters.
Harry Kane has been a Spurs player for a very long time but it's not difficult to understand why he was keen on leaving. Following a breathtaking campaign where the 28-year-old led the top flight with 23 goals and 14 assists, Kane simply wants to win trophies. However, that has been a difficult task in North London but with him back in the fold and an improved squad around the striker, hopefully, Tottenham can create some havoc this term.
Harry Kane and Spurs will take on Portuguese club Pacos de Ferreira on Thursday in the second leg of the Europa Conference League after losing 1-0 last week with their B squad.
