Upcoming wacky business simulation game Two Point Campus gets its release date delayed for a couple of months.
Two Point Studios quietly announced that the anticipated Two Point Campus, follow up to the 2018 game Two Point Hospital, will have its release date moved from May 17, 2022, to August 9, 2022. The announcement was made in the Two Point Forums.
Two Point Studios, however, reassured fans that the delay, indeed, is for the best. The studio shares that the extra three months will be used to polish the quality of the game. According to Two Point Studios Game Director Mark Webley:
“Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us. This means we will need a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms”. We will use these additional three months to optimise Two Point Campus for all platforms.”
To appease disappointed fans, Two Point Studios shared a “Developer Vision” video on Youtube, which is meant to showcase what the studio aims to achieve with the game upon launch.
The Two Point series is known for the wacky, goofy business simulation that doesn't take itself seriously. The game's highlights include not only its strategic depth but also its humor. Too bad the Two Point Campus release date got delayed.
