The USC football program came away with an impressive 42-28 win over Louisville in the Holiday Bowl on Wednesday, and Miller Moss's performance had some pitting him against Caleb Williams, who is departing for the NFL and will likely be the No. 1 pick in this year's draft. Miller Moss opened up on his appreciation for Caleb Williams and what he did with USC football.

“I think people are always trying to pit quarterbacks against each other, especially in the same room in college these days,” Miller Moss said, via Bryan Fischer of Fox Sports. “But we had a really positive experience working together. I'll always appreciate Caleb for what he did — not only for me but for this program. He's a great leader. We'll always be really, really great friends.”

Moss' performance against Louisville might go down as the best of any player this bowl season, he completed 23-of-33 passes for 372 yards, six touchdowns and one interception to help USC football end the season on a high note with a win.

USC did not live up to expectations this season, in large part due to the defensive play. Williams flashed his potential throughout the year, which is why he is still viewed by many as the top quarterback prospect.

With Moss' performance, the program can bring some optimism into the offseason heading into the 2024 season. He could potentially be the solution at quarterback for the Trojans next year when they move to the Big Ten. It will be interesting to see if this is the first of many good performances from Moss as a USC quarterback.
