Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James had an historic night against his former team in the Miami Heat Sunday night.

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra knows James and his game very well. He tried to stop James from shooting this three by bringing a double team, but it was not successful.

James was feeling it all night against his former team. One has to wonder if James will do the same against another former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday night.

We could see another repeat performance again here soon.

James finished the game with 51 points (19-for-31 from the field, 6-for-8 from three), eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.

It was a very efficient 51 points for James. He prides himself on being efficient from the field each and every night.

With the Lakers defeating the Heat, they move to 9-7 on the year. The team is slowly but surely seems to be finding there way and getting chemistry with each other.

This is a brand new team and it is very important they find chemistry early.

Road trips are often times where teams find chemistry and with this Lakers team on an Eastern Conference road trip, it seems they have found a little spark in the chemistry. Which, is led by James.

As the season goes along, it will be interesting to see how the team comes together as a whole. Especially with speculation surrounding head coach Luke Walton.

However, it was a night to remember for James and the Lakers team to try to get back on track.
