Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook provided more epic theatrics Wednesday night during the matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder.
During a heated moment in the third quarter, the two got face-to-face and bumped heads during a big time trash-talking moment. Here is the full sequence:
This came right after Durant got matched up with Westbrook and tried to take him one-on-one. KD went for his signature crossover then stumbled and Westbrook knocked the ball away out of bounds.
That was enough for Westbrook to start jawing and Durant wasn't backing down.
This is pretty much the second big moment of trash-talking between the two in their regular season meetings. Both times were pretty heated with pretty much everyone else around just standing back and watching to see what the two would do.
The Thunder are currently blowing out the Warriors by 20-plus and look well on their way to their first win against the Durant-led Warriors since KD jumped ship.
This is the first time the Thunder have really put up a good showing against the Warriors since Durant left. It's just the kind of performance the Thunder were in need of after a slow start to the season.
