Rajon Rondo proved to be a key cog for the Los Angeles Lakers in what turned out to be an historic title run for the Purple & Gold this past season. Now on vacation, the 34-year-old is making sure that he makes the most of his time away from basketball.

Rondo is currently vacationing in the Maldives, and we've come across a couple of videos that prove that he's currently living his best life in paradise:

Clearly, Rondo knows how to have a good time.

We were all treated to Playoff Rondo yet again during L.A.'s memorable postseason run, with the four-time All-Star stepping up for his squad on the biggest stage. The 6-foot-1 point guard proved to be an excellent option off the bench for head coach Frank Vogel, with Rondo putting up averages of 8.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.6 assist, and 1.4 steals in 24.7 minutes throughout the playoffs. He also knocked down 1.3 triples per contest on a 40.0-percent clip, providing some much-needed firepower from the second unit.

Rondo currently has a player option on his current contract, and he is expected to enter free agency within the next few weeks. The Lakers remain in the driver's seat in terms of retaining the services of the two-time NBA champ, but Rondo will have no shortage of suitors.

He's going to be 35 next term, but based on what we've seen from him, he certainly has a lot of gas left in the tank. Rajon Rondo is the type of player who can come in and make a dark horse into a legitimate title contender. But for now, live it up Rajon.
