Jimmy Butler is making his impact felt right away with the Sixers.

The Philadelphia 76ers were in Charlotte Saturday night taking on Kemba Walker and the Hornets. It was Butler's third game with the Sixers, and in typical superstar fashion, the four-time All-Star hit a game-winning 3-pointer from the right wing to give the Sixers the 122-119 win on the road.

The Sixers are now 2-1 since acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Butler finished with 15 points in 37 minutes, with his last three points being the biggest of the night. The Sixers are now 11-7 on the season and on a two-game winning streak.

Hornets point guard Kemba Walker scored 60 points in this game, but it wasn't enough in the end, as Butler and the Sixers escaped town with a big win.

Jimmy Butler is averaging 19.0 points per game in the three games he's played in as a Sixer. He's brought toughness, defense and clutch offense to the team. A Big Three of Jimmy Butler, Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons is going to scare a lot of teams this season, especially when the three stars get more comfortable with each other on the floor.

This is exactly why the Sixers traded for Jimmy Butler. You need guys who can score at the end of games, and Jimmy “G” Butler delivered on Saturday.
