The Minnesota Vikings are still looking for their second win of the season against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. However, they'll likely have to do it without rookie cornerback Cameron Dantzler, who suffered a scary neck injury late in the first quarter and is also being evaluated for a concussion. Dantzler is being transported to a local hospital, but he does have full movement of his body.
While attempting to make a tackle with his other Vikings teammates against Packers running back AJ Dillon late in the first quarter, Dantzler was inadvertently hit in the head by teammate Anthony Harris and went down after the play. He stayed down on the field as the team’s medical staff attended to him while his teammates looked concerned while surrounding him. He wore a brace on his neck and was later stretchered off the field:

On Saturday, the Vikings announced that the rookie cornerback was removed from the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list and would be activated against Green Bay. A report stated that the the third-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Mississippi State came into close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, but he was cleared to play.
The 22-year-old Dantzler appeared in four games for Minnesota before the injury, recording 21 solo tackles, 24 combined tackles, and two tackles for loss.
The Vikings, meanwhile, are trying to avoid a third straight loss after suffering back-to-back defeats against the Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons. While Minnesota's defense is having trouble slowing down Green Bay's offense, the return of Dalvin Cook has bolstered their offense.
