Unlike Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson is one of those players who rarely show his emotions on the court.

Whether Thompson drains a 3-pointer, completes a play, or gets a call that he does not like, his face will always show the same reaction.

But there are certain games where Klay Thompson just lights up and pumps up the entire team with his celebration, their victory over the Houston Rockets was one of those games.

Thompson scored 28 points and helped the Warriors weather the Rockets, 124-114.

Draymond Green, who became the franchise career leader in triple-doubles (17 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists,) said it's an amazing thing how Thompson sometimes becomes intense on the court, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

“There (are) certain games where you kinda see that fire and he had never come out and say it, but there are certain games that he just want a little bit more,” he told the media.

“Part of it could be the Bohemian connection with him and Eric Gordon, maybe he wanted to beat him because of that.” said Green

“Like you never know with Klay, (he's) in some little weird thing at times. You can't put your finger on him and trust me, I can't either.”

Stephen Curry led the Warriors, who played without star player Kevin Durant due to a strained right calf, with 29 points. Golden State extended their winning streak on the road to nine.

The Rockets, meanwhile, tried to stage a rally despite playing without their All-Star in James Harden, who is out with a hamstring strain for the next two weeks. Eric Gordon top scored with 30 points while Gerald Green provided the spark off the bench with 29 points.

The Warriors will continue their road trip against the Clippers on Saturday while the Rockets will play Detroit.
