The Orlando Magic have a good one in Paolo Banchero, whom they selected first overall in the 2022 NBA Draft. The jury is still out on Banchero, but Magic Nation must be liking everything they've been seeing from the former Duke Blue Devils star so far in the 2022 NBA Summer League. For Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, Banchero is the real deal, overreaction or not.

Draymond Green was also reacting to the way the rookie handled himself in the clutch in Orlando's thrilling 94-92 win on Saturday over the Sacramento Kings. The game needed a couple of overtimes to be decided, giving it somewhat of a feel of a regular-season tilt, at the very least.

Banchero finished the contest with 23 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the field to go with six assists, six rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. His sixth dime was the biggest one, as that led to a game-winning basket by teammate Emmanuel Terry.

That was some display of poise right there by Paolo Banchero, and that certainly caught the attention of the Warriors' forward. Banchero was under pressure with the time winding down, but still managed to gather himself and make the right decision at the right moment. Moreover, his ability to handle the ball from the top of the key and generate scoring opportunities whether for himself or for his teammates was also highlighted by that play. Magic fans can't wait for Banchero to do that in the upcoming 2022-23 NBA season, where Orlando will look to have much more respectable performance.
