Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green lost 23 pounds for the 2019 playoffs, and the All-Star says he feels “incredible.”

Green is listed at 230 pounds. The Warriors are trying to win their third straight title and fourth ring in five years, so the forward knew he had to get in better shape:

After blowing a 31-point lead in Game 2 at home, the Warriors rebounded nicely in Game 3, winning by a final score of 132-105. Golden State has a 2-1 series lead and reclaimed home-court advantage.

Through the first three games of the series against the Los Angeles Clippers, Green is averaging 13.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 8.7 assists. The three-time All-Star is shooting 48.4 percent from the field, 25.0 percent from beyond the arc and 85.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Green and the Warriors will look to take a commanding 3-1 series lead in Game 4, which is on Sunday. The Clippers will be playing like a desperate team on their home floor, so Golden State has to expect LA to come out aggressive and try to put early pressure on them.

Obviously, the Dubs are going to go as far as Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry can take them, However, a case can be made that Green is the most important player on the team since he brings an intensity and swagger on both ends of the floor which sets the tone for the club.
