We are all about to be treated to what should be an epic NBA Finals series between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. Game 1 is scheduled to take place on Thursday night in Golden State and at this point, it is clear that both teams have prepared well for their opponents.

On Wednesday, Warriors star Draymond Green had nothing but praise for the opposition. The Dubs veteran talked up the total team effort Boston brings every single game:

“You respect and admire that everyone is defending,” Green said, via Celtics on NBC Sports Boston on Twitter. “There's not a guy who comes on the floor that isn't giving 110%”

Likewise, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr also commended their opponents ahead of their first game. According to coach Kerr, he's very much looking forward to battling the Celtics due to his personal affinity towards the team:

“There's a mystique that exists with the Celtics,” Kerr said. “… For me having grown up watching those games and being a fan it's pretty cool to be coaching in The Finals against them.”

Both Green and Kerr are giving the Celtics their flowers here but have no doubt about it — the Warriors will be entering this series with a killer mentality and they will do everything in their power to knock Boston down at every opportunity they get.
