On Tuesday, Warriors star Draymond Green shared his honest thoughts about Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics ahead of their Game 1 clash on Thursday night. Based on his statement here, it is clear that the Dubs have prepared quite well for their opponents.

Green was asked to speak about his prediction about the Celtics beating the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. This was when he dropped a truth bomb about the Warriors keeping their eyes on the Celtics for some time now:

“We've been wathing them for months — months now,” Green said, via Anthony Slater of The Athletic. “Their defense is absolutely incredible. They have a good offense, and more importantly, on offense they have a guy that is one of them guys. Jaylen Brown is abolutely a very good player, but Jayson Tatum is one of them guys. And when you have that, you always have a chance of winning — when you have a guy like that. You couple that with all these pieces around him, the defense around him, they have veteran leadership. You couple that with all the things that's around him and you look and you say, ‘Wow they actually have what it takes.'”

Sounds to me like Green and the Warriors have studied a lot of film about the Celtics. All of their hard work will not be put to the test as the Dubs look to take down Tatum and Co. en route to their fourth title in eight years.
